INSTRUCTION FOR USE

SURFACE PREPARATION: -

Surface must be clean and free from greasy matters or dust. It should have been sufficiently cured in a way that any shrinkage has already occurred.

Product Preparation

Mix UNI – 202 in proportion of 5 – 6 liters of clean cool water per 20 kg bag. An electric mixture with low rotation speed (lessthan 300 rpm) or stirrer with continuously stirring to avoid lump formation in making of smooth paste. Let the paste rest for few minutes before starting the application.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:- Apply Paste of UNI – 202 evenly on the surface. Use a notched trowel to have a uniform thickness according to the size of the tile. Apply the tiles on the surface and press them firmly, while making sure that the paste does not slip the tile sides (The thickness will depend on the type and area of the tiles).

Cleaning

Clean the tools with water after use. Cured materials can only be removed mechanically.

Precautions

Apply UNI-202 on the surface by areas of around 1m2 each, which can be tied within a maximum of 20 minutes from application time at standard conditions. After that time, an outer skin may form thus preventing the tile from adhering properly to UNI-202 . Adjustments to the tiles should only be made during its open time . It is recommended to leave a minimum width of 2mm around the tiles (or as designed). Grouting the tile joints should only be done at least 24 hours after tiling.

Limitations

Substrate made of gypsum is not advisable.
Not to be used on Facades.
